Since the introduction of the Pink Ribbon Magnetic Bracelet to Sabona of London's product line in 2009, the company has been pleased to donate $ 22,000 to the American Cancer Society.
The bracelet, which features the well known pink ribbon, has been a popular item for Sabona and continues to help the American Cancer Society of Sikeston, MO provide necessities to those struggling with breast cancer.
From the donation in 2010, 24 women have received a FREE mammogram that they otherwise would not have been able to afford, over 100 women have received a FREE wig and/or turban, and over 60 bras and prosthesis have been provided FREE to breast cancer survivors!
One of the favorite things about my job is seeing a cancer patient come into my office with a sad look on their face, and then leave with a huge smile. The donation provided by Sabona, makes these smiles possible, said Marcie Lawson, Community Manager of the American Cancer Society of Sikeston, MO.
Sabona of London is currently developing another Pink Ribbon item and will continue to donate a portion of the sales to the American Cancer Society.
